As you probably already know, October is Breast Cancer Awareness month. It is also the launch of the pink ribbon turtle raffle, in which I took part in helping create one of the pink ribbon 4q designs. Not only do you get the chance to win a spectacular piece of beaded art, but you would be donating money to a very worthwhile cause (breast cancer research).
I also have some exciting news. I have taken a job at one of my local bead stores, Purple Sage. I am very excited to start there next week. I really enjoy working at a bead store, not only for the discount(woohoo!) but because I like to be around other beaders to see what they are doing, and help with any problems they might be having. If you live in the area, stop by and say hello. Its a great store with good prices, and a fabulous staff(lol)!
